🎄✨ Christmas Cheer is Continuing to Spread Across BCS!

This year, the holiday spirit isn’t just in the classrooms—it’s at the bus garage, too! We want to send a special #ThankYou to Trace Copeland for sharing the creativity and bringing a little extra joy to our district this season. ❤️

It’s small touches like this that remind us how much thought and care goes into making the season bright for everyone. We’re so grateful for all the ways our staff and #students help spread cheer throughout #BedfordCountySchools! 🎁

We are incredibly grateful to the Shelbyville Bedford Community Foundation for their generous support of Bedford County Schools! 💙

Thanks to the funds raised through last year’s Connected Community 5K, six BCS educators will be able to travel to a national conference for high-quality professional learning. The knowledge, strategies and inspiration they gain will come straight back to our classrooms—directly benefiting our #students and schools.

This is a powerful example of how a connected community invests in teachers, strengthens learning and supports #student success. #ThankYou for believing in our educators and our students!

Students from #ShelbyvilleCentralHighSchool’s TAP II class, led by Ms. Melody Redd, and FCCLA hosted Bedford Be a Teacher Day at #SouthsideElementarySchool recently as part of FCCLA's National Be a Teacher Day.

📚 TAP II students read books about teaching, shared why they’re pursuing education and had Southside #students sign their event t-shirts to remember their semester together.

🍬 #FCCLA students organized teaching goodie bags for every #student.

👩‍🏫 Southside students dressed as their favorite teachers, and Ms. Crystal Hathcock's 5th grade class won the prize for most participation, all dressing as Coach Martin!

🙏 We want to send a special #ThankYou to Black and Blue Sports for donating TAP II shirts and Redd's Heating and Air for supporting the goodie bags and books.
