About Me

I was born and raised in Bedford County and currently live in Wartrace with my husband, Troy.  I have been teaching science for 27 years: 24 years at SCHS and 3 years in East Tennessee. Outside of school, I am involved in wheelchair sports and the co-founder of New Destiny Dog Rescue.  This past year I started a new dog sanctuary called CC's Sanctuary and it is for hospice and special needs dogs.
