Principal's Message

WELCOME TO SHELBYVILLE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL!

I am excited and honored to be the principal of the best high school in the nation! SCHS is an amazing place for students, staff, and families. Our long-storied tradition in academics and sports is still alive and well!

A little about me...
I am a life-long learner. I graduated high school in 1990 at Columbia Central High School and enrolled at MTSU, where I earned my Bachelor's degree. During that time, I joined the Tennessee Army National Guard. I have also earned a Masters's degree (2004) and an Educational Specialist degree (2015).

I have been in education for 26 years. I have taught, coached, and been an assistant principal, principal, and superintendent of schools during that time. I am also still in the military. I am currently assigned to the 3/117th RTI in Smyrna, Tennessee, where I am a Quartermaster Instructor.

I am married to Cindy, and we have four children: 18, 20, 21, and 28. I am almost an empty nester! We love spending our "free" time outdoors on a beach or in the mountains. I firmly believe that God and family are the most important things in my life.

I look forward to meeting you and having a great school year. If you have any questions, I can be reached at [email protected] or 931-684-5672.
