About Me

My name is J.T. Cobb, and I am one of the English Teachers here at SCHS. Since I started here in the Fall of 2019, I have taught English II, English IV, English I, and English III. 

 

My personal mission as a Teacher is to equip my students to give them the maximum amount of options for their future by equipping them with the tools to succeed in College, The Workforce, and Life in General. In my class, students can expect to be engaged with examples from everyday life, various professions, and the cultural roots of many works of literature that we cover. Many of us use the skills taught in English class in our everyday lives out of instinct. My goal is to help my students apply these skills in the classroom to facilitate future success. 

 

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy working out, reading/listening to audiobooks, and running Dungeons and Dragons games for SCHS's Anime & Gaming Society. 

 

I am in Room C-2, my planning is in 1st Period, and the best way to reach me is by email. I am normally quick to reply and eager to communicate, so do not hesitate to reach out.
