I love teaching multilingual learners! Each student brings an amazing array of knowledge, skill and character to class. We want to build on these strengths as we come to comprehend the unusual language that is English. We work together to find meaning and grow in our language acquisition. Every day is bright at SCHS!
About me...
I actually graduated from SCHS some time ago. It is very exciting to be on campus as a teacher of multilingual learners. I love to read, garden, study different cultures, hang out with my family and friends, and in the summer I enjoy swimming and paddling The Duck River. 
Syllabus:
Growth: Grades reflect progress in both English language skills and subject content.
Multiple Ways to Show Learning: Students can demonstrate understanding through tests, projects, presentations, and class participation.
Support and Accommodations: Extra time, simplified instructions, and use of bilingual resources are provided as needed.
Effort Counts: Effort, participation, and improvement are important parts of the grade
