I am a native of Bedford County and a 1998 graduate of SCHS.  My father was also an educator and served as my inspiration.  He had a life-long desire to be an encourager which he has passed onto me.  My goal is to provide a receptive environment where students grow both personally and academically.  I enjoy seeing students become involved with school activities as I believe this will help them stay the course and value their high school memories for years to come.  I currently help lead FCA, FCCLA, and enjoy keeping books for Eagle and Eaglette basketball!  GO SCHS! 

 

I have one daughter, Katie Joy, who graduated SCHS in 2025.  She will be attending Motlow this fall where she will complete an internship with the athletic director.  I enjoy traveling, boating, camping, and watching SCHS sports.  My husband, Jamie, and I also enjoy scuba diving.
