About Me

 

I have been involved with education since 1987 when I first started teaching in Jackson County, TN. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tennessee Technology University in Engish. and I have a Master of Arts degree from Tennessee Technology University in curriculum and Instruction.  My teaching credentials include French, English, History as well as endorsements in special education and visual impairments.

 

My favorite things in life include gardening, camping, fishing, traveling and having adventures with friends and family.  

 

My philosophy in life is: the only thing I have failed at is the thing I gave up on.  I rarely give up.  I also believe that I am not too old to learn new things. 

 

My expectations from students are that you make positive choices and do your best. I am available to you via TEAMS and school email.  For parent communication, I use google voice for texting and voice mail. So, if you receive a message from me, you can simply return the call or text to that number which will come directly to me.
