About Me
I am a proud Shelbyville Central High School graduate, Class of 1990!
Professionally, I continued my education at Middle Tennessee State University with a BS degree and double major in Biology & Chemistry. I then attended Vanderbilt for my clinical training in the Medical Laboratory Science Technology program and became a licensed MT. After working in the healthcare field for 10 years, I decided to make my "little girl dream" come true by joining the Teach Tennessee Program and becoming a teacher. I graduated from the 5th Cohort becoming a licensed Science teacher in grades 7-12 and Agricultural Education. I also have an occupational teaching license to teach Health Science Education.
This is my 17th year as a teacher at SCHS. I have taught Honors/Chemistry and Honors/Physical Science and am now teaching Health Science Ed, Medical Therapeutics, Anatomy & Physiology and Emergency Medical First Responder classes.
Personally, I am married, the mother of ALL girls and enjoy life in the country with goats at Halo K Farm!
