Art Society

Art Society is for everyone and anyone at SCHS who is interested in making art outside of the classroom. This is a student lead organization sponsored by the SCHS art teachers, Ms. Straub and Ms. Jackson. Our officers plan and organize meetings so that our club can meet at least two times a month. In meetings we usually create artwork with new techniques/processes/materials. Our meetings are encouraging and collaborative for all artists who are either new or seasoned. 

 

We are active in our community and seek art projects in the community and school throughout the year as well as other  art related volunteer work. We have participated in craft fairs, collaborative art competitions, mural paintings, and field trips to many places over the years. 

 

Art Society opens the club to new members at the beginning of the school year and then again in January. Everyone is welcome and we hope you will join us for good times and great art making!
