About the teacher...
Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Ms. Alyssa Stanford and I teach English I Honors and English I. This is my seventh year as a teacher and fifth year here at SCHS. I also co-sponsor the Anime Club along with Mr. Cobb and Ms. Stephens. Some of my hobbies include reading, creative writing, singing, and horseback riding. I also love volunteering with equine therapy programs that assist individuals with disabilities.
One thing you should know about me is that I love teaching. The best part of it has always been my students and our journey into literature. My philosophy is that I want students to take something more home with them other than homework. My duty is to make my students feel safe, appreciated, and welcome.
