About Me

I am a Shelbyville girl!  I graduated from Central and earned a Bachelor's degree from MTSU in Business Education.  I procured a job in business where I worked as a purchasing agent mainly, and other office tasks as needed, for 13 years.  I returned to MTSU and completed a degree for Elementary Education.  I taught 6th and 7th grades for 19 years at Harris Middle.  During this time, I completed a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.  I was very excited to be hired for the Economics position at Shelbyville Central in 2013.  I have made a move to the Career Technical Education section of SCHS starting with the 2023 - 2024 school year.  I will be teaching Introduction to Business.  I am very excited about this new opportunity!
